Resources

it's ok to seek help

There are a great many resources available to individuals, couples and families under stress. Some of these are listed below. Do not be slow to reach out to these services if you feel they may be of help. They will deal with your concerns sensitively, professionally, and in confidence.

Remember it is always better to reach out for help earlier rather than later. These services will not be critical or judgemental if you contact them sooner rather than later.

Many of the services listed here are located in the West of Ireland but others operate Nationally and local referrals can always be arranged.

In case of an emergency dial 999 or 112

In a critical or emergency situation do not hesitate to contact the Gardai who will respond sympathetically and if necessary will refer you to local support services in your area.
