Members of professional psychotherapy associations are required to receive on-going supervision on clinical practice as a necessary part of maintaining their level of membership.
The supervisory relationship can include monitoring, educating, developing, and supporting individual practitioners in their role. Through the relationship, the supervisee is provided with an ongoing opportunity to further develop skills and abilities through “reflection in action and reflection on action” which in turn will lead to an enhancement of their professional performance.
White Light Healthcare has extensive and varied experience in the field of supervision. The relationship between supervisor and supervisee is fully confidential, subject to legal requirements and the code of ethics of the IACP.
